One-on-one private sessions are an opportunity to dive into aspects of your life that are causing stress, anxiety, frustration or any other forms of discomfort; every thought and every emotion is welcome.

With meditative inquiry you will be guided through untangling and breaking down old thought patterns that no longer serve so that new ways of experiencing your reality are possible.

Marnie and Nathan have been in relationship for 18+ years and have experienced many of the challenges that married life and parenting presents. From sickness, to financial stress, to sex and intimacy issues, to addictive tendencies, The Work has not only allowed them to overcome and survive these obstacles but rather thrive. We encourage couples to bring their relationship challenges to inquiry with a curious and open mind.

What is The Work? The Work is a specific method of inquiry, or contemplative meditation with elements of somatic experiencing. It is a simple, yet radically powerful process that evolved out of the direct awakening experience of Byron Katie. It is a way to first identify, and then question, the thoughts that cause stress. It is a way to experience the effect of our beliefs in our everyday reality. It is in the noticing that new awareness and transformation is possible. Stillness and the desire to understand the cause of your suffering is all that’s required.

A minimum of 5 Sessions is recommended. During these sessions partners will take turns in inquiry while the other partner witnesses. We also use the Gift of Criticism tool to enhance deeper listening and open, honest communication with self and partner.
